Zuzana Hirjaková, Mgr., PhD.

Zuzana studied psychology at the University of ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. In 2009 she joined the Lab of Motor Control at the Institute of Normal and Pathological Physiology and began to investigate the possibilities of postural control improvement using sensory biofeedback. In 2013 Zuzana received doctorate in the field of Normal and Pathological Physiology at the Medical Faculty of Comenius University, Bratislava. In the period of 2018-2019 she absolved postdoc fellowship at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, Czech Republic. During this fellowship she was the principal investigator of the project focusing on the gait in various environments. Since 2019, she has been interested in the effect of virtual reality on balance control and psychophysiological functions in humans. She is the principal investigator and the co-investigator of several national and international scientific projects and the organizer of the International Posture Symposium (www.posture.sk).
